Here, on the first image you can see the main window of the feature. To be able to use the Cavebot you HAVE to research the full cave where you wish to go. Otherwise you will NOT be able to go up/down holes.

Research map
Will research where you are walking, nothing else. It will only mark the path as walkable. Using this feature will not add up/down spots.
Best not to use this at the same time as "Extended research map"
Extended research map
If you are hunting monsters that leave fields (poison or fire fields), this feature is a Must Have. It will enable TibiaAuto to read the map in real time so it will update the map with the walkable/non walkable paths. If set up correctly the Cavebot will ignore paths that are blocked. To change whether or not a field is blocking your path, you will need to edit the item ID of the field in the tibiaauto-tiles.xml file. To find out more on this, keep reading.
Edit tile configuration(s)
Let's say you want to make the changes you are doing permanent. Use this option on the correct tile (usually the LAST ONE). Once you activate this menu you will be given choices on what that tile means. Just mark "Go up" or "Go down" or what ever setting you wish (such as blocking to avoid the tile being researched) to set up a stair/ladder/hole/etc, select "use" if it's a grate or anything that need to be "used".
TA might crash when doing this, so don't do it while in danger. Also, remember to SAVE your script before doing this.
If you need to change more than one ID, just open TA again, turn on the Extended research and start over the process.
- If you turn on the Extended research map again, the spot you added will be "updated" to show you the new settings for that tile.

Making Changes to the Map
TURN OFF THE EXTENDED RESEARCH BEFORE YOU DO THIS! This will prevent your changes from being overwritten.
If you want to manually add a Go Up spot, go near it so the correct spot is the next square meter (sqm) away from you in any direction.(This will help you click on the right square)
Right click the spot on the Show Map where the Up spot should be. Select "Go Up One Level" and select the correct type of tile (Rope, Ladder, Stairs, Magic rope). This will update the map.
- If you turn on the Extended research map again, the spot you added will be "updated" to a normal tile again.
If you want to manually add a Go Down spot, go near it so the correct spot is the next square meter (sqm) away from you in any direction.
Right click the spot on the Show Map where the Down spot should be. Select "Go Down One Level" and select the correct type of tile (Closed hole, Open hole or Grate). This will update the map.
- If you turn on the Extended research map again, the spot you added will be "updated" to a normal tile again.
Teleporters/turtles will automatically be researched on the map but you can add a teleporter square anywhere(like at boats). Right click the spot on the Show Map where the Teleporter should be and select "Permanent Teleporter". This creates a question mark teleporter.
To let it know where it leads to, teleport yourself to your destination while standing on or beside the teleporter square with extended research on.
You will receive a TA message saying it successfully found a destination.
- The permanent tiles you can set will not be removed with Extended research enabled.
